Agathions: Development, Books, and Valakas

Agathion is inserted into the Agathion Summoning Bracelet and is being sharpened Development Books — not Enchant Scrolls for weapon/armor enchanting.
They don’t sell extra keychains—they break them down for Books in Fishermen's Guilds: Agathion's Keychain → Book of Development. Many players are unaware of this step, but it is the source of enchanting for the talisman you are wearing.
A Common Book is only safe up to +3. Failure at +3 or higher breaks the item. To prevent this, grind it up to +7–8 with some luck; after that, use Blessed Books: enchanting level in case of failure remains unchanged.
The path of every agathion is the same: Through the Book to +10 → у Santiago in Heine will be upgraded to Improved → We use the Book of the Improved Star Agathion to +5-6, after the Holy Book of Enhanced Star Agathion's Development up to +10.

Three Things About Enchanting Agathions
The Book of Development is an “enchanting” enhancement for agathions. One Book levels you up; the level cap is— +10. Star Agathion's main skills include +4.
There are ordinary books and blessed books. A normal item is safe up to +3; a blessed (Divine/Sacred) item retains its level on a failure and is therefore needed from +4 to +10.
Books are obtained from keychains. Common Books—exchange excess keychains at the Fishermen’s Guild. Blessed Books—obtained from chests, events, and Store L; cannot be dismantled.
Analysis of agathions in the Books of Development
The key—and least well-known—step. In Fishermen's Guilds Agathion's Keychain can be exchanged for The Book of Development — the item that Agathion himself uses to sharpen his weapon.

This is exactly where progression breaks down. A regular Book guarantees a level only in the safe zone; beyond that, you need a blessed one.

Upgrading agathion (Normal → Upgraded)
Step-by-step: action → where → result. Works for any Star Sign and for the Fire Dragon.
Take the keychain with the correct symbol. The 12 zodiac signs (Aries, Taurus, …, Pisces) plus the Fire Dragon. The sign is chosen based on the role: for example, Virgo provides Magic Defense and a chance for mental attacks, while Taurus provides physical stats.
Upgrade to "Enhanced" at Santiago (Hain). Strict requirement: the enchanting must be exactly +10. Below +10, the Santiago upgrade will not provide any benefits.
Upgrade to +10 already in the Development Book Improved Star Agathion.
